I have been meaning to e-mail you to let you know that Max
& Mia – the sibling pair that we adopted from your shelter in December 2011
– are doing great and enjoying their new life with us.
I am attaching just a few pictures. They have the run of our
large treed back yard, and enjoy going to the dog park at least 4-5 times a week
– as often as we can get there with them. They are great with all other dogs
and people, and love chasing their orange balls they have in their mouths in the
picture. Mia was quite overweight, and with their contentedness and exercise,
Mia has lost 20 lb., and Max has also lost about 15 lb. The vet says they are
doing great.
I know there were a lot of staff at the shelter that cared
very much about Max & Mia, and I wanted everyone to know how happy they
are.
