Duke and Daisy (adopted August 2014)

Duke and Daisy spend some time bird watching together. They were adopted in August 2014 and are very affectionate and playful. Thank you for these two treasures. They bring us so much joy every day. Never a dull moment.

Willie (Bull Mastiff) - adopted Dec. 3, 2014

Willie (Bull Mastiff) recently spent some time playing in the snow with his sister Lucy (Dogue de Bordeaux) and his friend Chance (greyhound/husky cross). Chance was known as Sunny when he was adopted from UCHS in August 2014.

Oliver (formerly Hexxus) - adopted Jan. 17, 2015 and Indie (formerly Frankie) - adopted 2012

Here are Oliver (was Hexxus) and Indie (was Frankie) snuggling up on my bed this morning when it was -24 outside. No danger of them feeling chilly! As you can see, Oliver (cat adopted in January 2015) has settled in well with Indie (dog adopted in 2012). My grandson loves Oliver and he seems to be OK with that!

Rosie - adopted January 2012

Hi Folks. I thought you might like to see a recent photo of our beautiful Rosie (now 3 years old). We adopted her from you in January of 2012. Here she is with two of our daughters and our pony.

Rosie is one of the litter of ten pups you had up for adoption that Winter. Thank you for all you do.

Tippy (formerly June) - adopted 2011

Hi. Just wanted to give you an update on Tippy (formerly June). She has been with us for 4 years now and is blossoming everyday. She enjoys playing with our dog and our 4 other cats. She is a very loving and affectionate girl who has come out of her shyness.

Bear (formerly Remington) - adopted Dec. 7, 2014

Bear (formerly Remington) was adopted Dec. 7, 2014 and his family let us know he is one happy dog. He loves running around the property and especially loves his new family.

Fidget & Reese (adopted Dec. 14, 2014)

Reese and Fidget
Fidget and Reese were adopted on Dec. 14, 2014. Their family provided the following update on Feb. 5, 2015.

They're happy in their new home and pretty much took over the first day they got here. They love walks. Fidget recently completed a 12 km hike but Reese doesn't even like the small hikes. Fidget still dances whenever she is happy. She's happy for walks, food, outside (especially to visit the bunny in the backyard) and when anybody comes home. Reese is slowly warming up to the other members of the family. He loves snuggles and walks in town. He especially loves his dolly.

Jolie (adopted Feb. 8, 2014)

Hello,

Once again I am emailing you to let you know how Jolie (the cat that I adopted from your shelter) is doing.

It will be 1 year ago on Sunday which she came to my life. Jolie has been very good and she tries to wake me before my alarm goes off in the workday mornings. She has been nothing short of being the perfect cat for me. She plays with me on the stairs in which I throw her toys up to her and she jumps to intercept or swat them down. Jolie still purrs extremely loud. She usually hangs out on the chair arm where I sit to watch television or movies at home.
