Dear Upper Credit Humane Society,
It has been a month now since we have had the pleasure of
welcoming Morti the cat into our home. With each passing day, Morti seems
to feel more comfortable with us and with being part of our family. We
have created a nice spot for him to perch in Liam's bedroom, and he likes to
sit and cuddle up on our office chair.
Morti and our dog Finnegan seem to
be getting along well enough - they have a mutual respect for each other's
space, so that is good.
Morti is such a character! He is super
cuddly, loves having his belly rubbed, and he loves playing with the string toy
that we have for him. He follows us around often, especially in the
morning, but also enjoys taking cat naps on Liam's bed in the afternoon.
It is
such a pleasure having Morti in our lives. Morti has also proved a valued
companion for Liam, who is struggling to fit in at a new school. So - yay for
Morti!!! He is simply the "best cat ever" according to Liam.
Thanks for taking care of him at the shelter and for doing
the great work that you all do!
