Sorry for the delay in sending an update about these girls that I
picked up on September 1, 2015.
They settled in pretty quickly (Smokey was definitely the braver
of the two!) and really enjoyed exploring their new home. They have a penned
off area in the kitchen and are loving the space to run around. They have ad
lib hay, some pelleted feed, and I am experimenting with different leafy greens
(Kale and romaine are their favourites!). They are still getting used to
being picked up, but I have taken them out into the back yard a couple times in
a penned enclosure.
I'm so happy to have found them and I know that we will have many
happy years and memories to come!
