It is with great sadness that we share with
you Loki’s passing on Nov 2. Loki was 10 years old and a wonderful big brother to Henry. Loki was a very special dog who expressed his
happiness through his “talking” and excited, wagging tail. He was healthy and happy right up until Friday
night and suddenly took ill on Saturday. After going to the vet, and then the emergency clinic, it was discovered
via a cloudy X-ray that Loki either had fungal pneumonia or cancer. He was in rough shape. The vet said he presented as a very stoic
dog. The only sign we had that he was
ill was on the previous Monday he developed a cough.
His past owner should know that he lived a
very full and happy life. He was a
wonderful dog and is dearly missed.
Our very best to the Upper Credit staff and
volunteers for taking in Tyr, Loki and Henry and letting them join our family. The work you do is invaluable.
